Press Release: Pop/Folk Artist Bryce Hitchcock Releases New Single “Two”

Article by: Justyn Brodsky

Recognized as “an artist to watch”, Bryce Hitchcock’s music is rooted in folk-pop, country blues, and jazz. Fans have heard Bryce as the voice of Deuce in the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD video game and she was recently featured singing and acting on the hit FX show Atlanta.

Bryce‘s new single “Two” is about a girl who isn’t ready to commit 100% of herself to her relationship. She’s afraid to be depended on, and even more afraid of depending on someone else. Bryce‘s strong smokey voice carries the heavy subject matter and shows amazing maturity for such a young girl. Bryce brings back deep lyrical content reminiscent of such legends as James Taylor and Carly Simon but keeps it fresh and new with a young sound and modern production. In an era of over produced, glossy pop music Bryce is keeping it real.

Two” was recorded in Ireland with Stuart Gray at Jealoustown Studios and a music video was filmed in downtown Nashville, TN by Steven C. Knapp of Knapptime Creative LLC. The song may be titled “Two” but Bryce‘s songwriting and voice deserves to be number one. “Two” is currently released on Spotify and all digital music platforms.

Artistically merited, authentic and ambient, Collin McInelly‘s voice is blissful, hypnotizing and showcases an array of ranges that gives him endless versatility.

With his 4-track visceral Alt/Indie-infused EP Change, we hear a collection of songs that tell compelling stories in different chapters. From anthemic piano measures, melodic guitar progressions and atmospheric vocal textures, these tracks delve into a signature sound and style that really showcases McInelly as a true original of his kind. You’ll hear something different each time, but you’ll know it’s still coming from the same artist. Press Release: Trey Wonder Set To Release His Sophomore Album “The Ghost Of My Father” On November 23rd

Article by: Justyn Brodsky

Grungy, versatile and unwaveringly charismatic with his viscerally multi-genre Indie/Punk approach, Hawaiian island-based artist Trey Wonder is geared up to release his sophomore record The Ghost Of My Father.

If Weezer and Radiohead started a 90s-era punk band, then Trey Wonder would definitely be recruited as their lead singer. And the brilliance of both groundbreaking signature sounds is what The Ghost Of My Father brings to the table. We have a collection of tracks that dynamically blend an edge-of-your-seat Indie sensibility, and several elements of punk, grunge, and an eclectically melodic style that is reminiscent of several rock eras.

Each self written and self produced track is comprised of a clever mixture with musical elements that include melodically versatile vocals, loud and crunchy guitar progressions, a tight knit pounding rhythm section and dangerously catchy choruses. He’s an original in his own right, but still can be heard as recognizable among the drawn influences from some of yesterday’s and today’s rock icons. You never hear the same thing twice, but you can tell it’s the same artist commanding the wheel, and the infectiously catchy overdubs in every chorus will stick with you throughout the record even after it’s over.

On top of this record being a follow up to Trey‘s predecessor Nice Fish, this new album is also an attribute to his father, and is being released on the anniversary to his death on November 23rd. This record is for any avid Indie Rock listener that yearns for the glory days when punk was actually good, and wasn’t afraid to show its melodic side. The Ghost Of My Father will be available on all digital music retailers and streaming platforms on Friday.

Artist Review: Through Infinity – “The Sight Of An Eagle” Single/Music Video

Review by: Justyn Brodsky

Anthemic, powerful and melodically visceral, Croatian Indie/Alt-Rock band Through Infinity takes us through a cinematic journey with their anchor single “The Sight Of An Eagle”.

Possibly one of the most beautiful locations a music video has ever been filmed at, “The Sight Of An Eagle” is a breathtaking experience from the very second it begins. With a dynamically paralleled Piano and Flute intro that foreshadows the song’s chorus, this song brings every emotion to the forefront with its catchy nature and Indie approach. The song has an anthemic grittiness that is hard to explain, and is very innovative – almost completely ahead of its time.

But this video’s stunning cinematography is an absolute show stealer and makes the listening experience all the more powerful. With a great vocal buildup between the singer and the band throughout the well crafted and ominously dark verses, we get a sense of anticipation that almost no other song has ever accomplished. It’s an edge-of-your-seat feeling with a blending of moods that almost separates your body and mind. And when the chorus hits, it hits home right where the heart is.

And that’s one of the song’s inescapable highlights – the chorus. Bringing us the full band version of what the intro eased us in with, we get a chorus that sticks with you in a way that will heighten your senses. It’s a captivatingly powerful chorus that is very rare among a lot of today’s contemporary artists, and the multi-genre nature of the song is really something to behold that truly makes Through Infinity a real original outfit.

The interchangeable harmonies between the woodwind, keyboards, guitar and vocals are intelligently blended and all keep a balance and composure that is almost unheard of. It comes together in a way where your emotions are at the forefront, and makes the visual aspect of what we hear in music a completely new experience when presented in this way. When you really sit back and clear your mind to watch this song and video, it’ll give you a whole new sensation to the music video experience with a whole new aspect altogether. It’s something you need (and hear) to see to believe.

Through Infinity breaks absolute new grounds when it comes to the visual aspect to music. After watching/listening to “The Sight Of An Eagle”, you may not view music videos quite the way you used to anymore. This video will grab your undivided attention from the very beginning, and even stays with you after it’s over.

Artist Review: Jonathan Alexander – “17:34” EP

Review by: Justyn Brodsky

Electric, eclectic and blissfully composed, we get a nostalgic feeling from Jonathan Alexander‘s newest EP 17:34.

Combining an older sound with today’s modern production value, Jonathan Alexander presents us with a collection of tracks that explore visceral moods, catchy vocal melodies and dynamic guitar swells with very tastefully effective additives.

His vocal range is perfect for the Indie/Rock approach this record tackles, and carries a voice that could draw comparisons to John Lennon, Chris Martin and Adam Levine. But still an original in his own right. One brilliant thing about this EP though is the versatility of the tracks. Each song has a designated signature sound, but comes at you with different angles.

From the softer atmospheric tones of “Better Off Without You” to the more upbeat and electronically-infused “Light On”, Jonathan showcases his vocal approach and strong songwriting factors with catchy choruses, story-telling lyrics and chorus-like additives that lend blissful vocal textures that give each song an anthemic quality. Each song resonates perfectly with his voice, and the clean guitar parts have enchanting swells that really delve deep into the song structures and overall atmosphere of this EP’s aura.

It’s very rare that an EP with this kind of songwriting quality comes along in this era. There’s nothing convoluted or unnecessary about this record at all – each instrument has its rightful place in every song and the vocal melody choices are intelligently crafted and executed. You can tell that each track has been gone over with a fine tooth comb, and proves that Jonathan Alexander was determined to put out an amazing collection of tracks – which is exactly what he did.
